A modern building may be heated by several methods. The most widely spread of them is hot-water heating. In water heating systems, a heat carrier (water) heated by a heat generator (a boiler etc.), transfers heat in pipelines to a heating device (a radiator, convector heater etc.) which delivers heat to the ambient air. According to the existing guidelines, all pipes involved into the heat carrier transportation must be insulated.
The main heating systems
The main purpose of Energoflex® and Energocell® HT insulation in heating systems is energy conservation. Apart from this, Energoflex® and Energocell® HT protects human skin from burns, i.e. provides safe temperature for a man on the surface of an insulating construction.
